We use Catalina Express and Catalina Flyer - both have many schedule options giving students the flexibility to go to the Island as early on Friday and stay as late as desired on Sunday
Please plan to arrive to Catalina no later than 9PM on Friday

The Catalina Express offers daily ferry service from Long Beach, San Pedro, and Dana Point. The Long Beach/Avalon trip takes about one hour. The Dana Point/Avalon trip takes about 1.5 hours.
The Catalina Flyer offers round-trip service from Newport Beach. The trip takes about 75 minutes.

We adjust the timing of activities based on the group's vibe, whether it's when we wake up, start the dives, or enjoy extended free time. Everything moves at the rhythm the group prefers, blending excitement with laid-back moments.
Complete your PADI scuba certification with an exhilarating boat day trip to the Coronado Islands, 8 miles off the coast of Baja! After finishing your online eLearning module and pool training sessions, you'll dive into three open-water dives at the islands' vibrant dive sites, known for its epic sea lion encounters and warmer, clear blue waters. All gear is provided, and you'll enjoy snacks and beverages on board during the 9-hour trip. To wrap up your certification, students will schedule one local shore dive, making this a thrilling and comprehensive journey to becoming a certified diver.

Coronado Islands diving require that you have a valid passport or passport card, regardless of its issuing country. Immigrants must hold their valid visas or residency permits, as if traveling by plane.
